The Art of Amy Lynn Stevenson is stylishly unique and you can spot one of her paintings a mile away. As sunshine pierces through the windows of her studio, a fresh canvas awaits. She picks up her brush and begins with the flirtatious eye of a stranger.

Amy Lynn creates beautiful creatures and characters in joyously festive settings - playing, seducing, and dancing the night away. You wish you could appear in that doorway. All eyes turn towards you, as if you crashed a party at Jay Gatsby’s mansion. Her 1920’s Jazz Age paintings are a respectful nod to her strongest influence - the chic Art Deco painter: Tamara De Lempicka.
“Everything inspires me. A playful pose, a fashionable hat, or an unusual point of view. Reality is unimportant. I draw from my whimsical imagination. Beginning with pencil, I then go over my lines in black sharpie - making bold choices and creating definite edges. I add a wash of bright color, then delicate, deliberate layers of acrylic paint. Because I am in the moment, my painting tells me what It wants next. I know I am done when it is finally silent.”
